Hosting
Our 'On Demand', or hosted model, is different from other vendors in one important respect: our ability to meet the needs of ALL firms, from the smallest boutiques to the largest investment banks.
In many markets, the on-demand model is perceived to be most appealing to small to medium size firms who do not have the expertise or budget to deal with the overheads of hosting their own systems, whereas larger firms who do have the necessary resources demand a locally hosted solution because they prefer to have control over operational issues and data security. However, because Ipreo's systems were designed by professionals who understood these challenges, our hosted model was created to be on a par, or in many cases more robust than any firm would ever create on their own. In this way, many of the world's largest banks trust us with the operation of their mission critical applications, and smaller firms benefit from the confidence that they can choose a hosted model and still have excellence in resilience, security and operations.
Customer-Hosted
Despite the thoroughness of our hosted solution, we recognize that customers may still have policies or preferences that lead them to host the software themselves, and so many of our products adapt seamlessly to this model also.
This compatibility is designed in from the start so that installation, support, and upgrade cycles are low-friction and predictable, minimizing the overhead on the client's IT department. Ipreo's systems are often focused on inter-firm communication, and the hosted model does not complicate this goal, as communications architectures are all firewall-friendly and audited internally and externally to the toughest standards.

Our technology infrastructure is engineered to meet the most demanding requirements of transparency and resilience, and all our applications are monitored around the clock from a Network Operations Center in New York.

At Ipreo we pride ourselves on the quality of our engineering staff. We have over 200 developers in 9 locations, tapping into talent around the world to deliver quality products that manage millions of data points and billions of dollars a day in capital transactions.
We are specialists in transactional systems, having developed platforms for the markets going back over 20 years, but we are also market leaders in analytical software, providing databases and tools of unparalleled accuracy and richness, designed in-house and resulting from years industry expertise. Our long partnership with Microsoft has yielded a reference solution in the industry for the entire .NET stack, but we also leverage best-of-breed solutions from across the technology industry to maximize value in our applications across the product range.
